Has the WT ever apologized for changing their stance on something?
by Left in the Cold ini'm in the middle of reading coc.
it's very eye opening.
but on thinking about how the gb finally changed their stance on allowing civil service instead of prison when a christian was face with military service, it makes me wonder if the wt ever apologizes for any reversal of beliefs it imposes?

by Left in the Cold inhttp://www.fox59.com/news/wxin-college-park-jehovas-witnesses-community-fights-to-keep-jehovahs-witnesses-out-of-neighborhood-20121107,0,5339745.column.
the story is mostly about a neighborhood in indianapolis fighting to keep a kh from being built in their neighborhood, but as is common, the entertainment is in the comments below the article.
i thought i'd share.

Ok. I'm confused and slightly stunned.
by Left in the Cold inon pages 54 & 55 of the "what has religion done for mankind" book the following quotes can be found.
considering adams decision to eat the fruit with eve it is written, "the woman was not to consult her husband first on the matter of eating, although god had made him first and had used him to construct the woman concerning the forbidden tree.
no, but she was to exercise woman's rights and show him she had better judgement.".

I just bought "What has Religion Done for Mankind" at an estate sale...
by Left in the Cold init's copy right 1951. it is so different than the things i learned from 79-today.
wt heavily relied upon wwi to show that god's kingdom was established in 1914 etc.
chapter 24 is called "the remnant restored from mystic babylon".

My Introduction
by Left in the Cold ini have posted on here a little, and i thought i should probably introduce myself the best i can right now.
i stumbled upon this site and told my sister about it.
then, sometime later she started discussing things with me that's she has seen or read (she's in therapy, as well, which probably has made her kind of rethink things).
